Welcome to the world of locksmithing ! Learn a career that you can take anywhere since locks can be found throughout the world. Our students have come from as far away as Mexico, Canada , Japan, Armenia, Central and South America, Singapore, China, Russia, Thailand and the Pacific Rim.
As part of our program, we will even help you with job placement. Including resume development, interview techniques and job research for the area you're interested in. We courrently have numerous job listings throughouts the United States. We were one of the few nationally-accredited schools for locksmithing until the year 2000. The year that we left the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) we were awarded a "100% student satisfaction rating" and "Instructor of the Year" for all of their schools nationwide, not just locksmithing. The California Institute of Locksmithing, a division of Friedman College, is approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau for Private, Postsecondary and Vocational Schools (Cert# 013230) and as such, maintains very high standards with licensed instructors.
People everywhere want security. You may choose to specialize in Residential, Commercial, Safe, Bank Safety-Deposit Boxes, High Security or Automobiles. We make it a point to teach the basics to get the job done right the first time and take pride in providing the best in quality instruction and equipment.

Housing:
Friedman College has a limited number of housing units for out of the area students.
We strongly suggest 30-days advance notice and a deposit to secure housing. All of the housing units are furnished and walking distance to the school. |
