Welcome to the world of locksmithing! Learn a career that you can take anywhere since locks can be found throughout the world. Our students have come from as far away as Mexico, Canada , Japan, Armenia, Central and South America, Singapore, China, Russia, Thailand and the Pacific Rim.

As part of our program, we will even help you with job placement. We currently have numerous job listings throughout the United States. We were one of the few nationally-accredited schools for locksmithing until the year 2000. The year that we left the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) we were awarded a "100% student satisfaction rating" and "Instructor of the Year" for all of their schools nationwide, not just locksmithing. The California Institute of Locksmithing, a division of Friedman College, is approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau for Private, Postsecondary and Vocational Schools (Cert# 013230) and as such, maintains very high standards with licensed instructors.
